Egyptian company ONIP has unveiled a new long-range strike drone at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
HAMZA-3 is a tailless flying-wing drone designed for strike missions and swarm operations. The system is capable of flying up to 1,800 km with an endurance of up to eight hours, reaching speeds of 220 kmph and operating at altitudes of up to 5,000 m, Militarnyi reported today.
The drone has a maximum take-off weight of 210 kg and carries a 50-kg warhead. It is powered by a gasoline engine and uses Beidou satellite and inertial navigation systems. HAMZA-3 can operate autonomously or under operator control, with target confirmation via a real-time video link and encrypted communications at ranges of up to 250 km.
The platform can be equipped with radar-reducing coatings and passive radar detection systems to support operations against air defense assets. Optional modular components allow the drone to increase its radar signature to imitate a jet aircraft, a feature intended to complicate enemy air defense responses.
