Pixxel has announced a strategic partnership with France-based Exotrail to equip its upcoming satellite missions with Exotrail’s spaceware™ electric propulsion systems.
The announcement coincided with the inauguration of the India-France Innovation Year by French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Under the agreement, Exotrail will supply modular Hall-Effect electric propulsion systems for Pixxel’s satellite deployments through 2027. The propulsion technology will support Pixxel’s expanding Earth Observation constellation, designed to deliver high-resolution imaging data for climate monitoring, resource management, and industrial intelligence.
Exotrail’s spaceware™ systems, built for satellites weighing between 10 and 1,000 kilograms, feature a compact form factor that enables Pixxel to optimise payload capacity without compromising performance.
