Russia’s Kalashnikov Concern has unveiled the KUB-10ME tactical-class guided munition with a range exceeding 100 km, stating it is the first such system developed in the country.
The company said the system was created using operational lessons from guided munitions deployed in Ukraine.
The KUB-10ME is equipped with an optoelectronic guidance system capable of engaging moving targets and includes enhanced protection against electronic warfare and air defense systems. An onboard aerial photography and video recording system captures mission data in real time.
Kalashnikov said the munition is intended for high-precision strikes against unarmored and lightly armored vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and command post elements at divisional and battalion level, including those equipped with electronic warfare systems. It can also target air and missile defense units, electronic reconnaissance assets, logistics sites, UAV launch positions, and aircraft or helicopters parked outside shelters at bases.
The system operates at altitudes between 80 m and 1,800 m, cruises at 120 kmph, and can fly in day or night conditions, in temperatures from -30°C to +40°C, and in wind gusts up to 10 m/s.
