Nordic Air Defence has signed a Letter of Intent with Poland’s WB Group and Tantalit to establish strategic cooperation around counter-drone defence technologies.

The cooperation will focus on the integration, production, sales and deployment of Nordic Air Defence’s high-speed kinetic interceptor K100XR interceptor within WB Group’s counter-UAS ecosystem. The interceptor is designed as a scalable and cost-effective kinetic system capable of defeating hostile drones.

The companies will also explore technical integration of the K100XR into Tantalit’s AI-enabled

command-and-control ecosystem - enabling sensor fusion, AI-assisted targeting and coordinated counter-drone  defence.

The partnership will pursue industrial cooperation opportunities, including potential production or assembly of Nordic Air Defence’s interceptor system in Poland.

Under the proposed framework, Nordic Air Defence will act as design authority and developer of the interceptor system, while Tantalit and WB Group will contribute AI software, system integration and battlefield networking capabilities.

Joint technical workshops and feasibility assessments are expected to begin in the coming months, with the ambition of supporting Polish counter-UAS programmes and potential export opportunities.

The announcement comes during the ongoing Swedish state visit to Poland, underscoring the deepening defence and security cooperation between the two NATO allies.
