Kongsberg has signed an agreement with Lockheed Martin with an expected total value of NOK 2 billion (nearly $210 million) for the delivery of components for the F-35 fighter aircraft.

The agreement, announced on March 18, extends KONGSBERG’s ongoing production of F-35 components through 2030. It supports all three variants of the aircraft under the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme.

Under the deal, KONGSBERG will supply components for production lots 20 to 22, including rudders, vertical leading edges, and main landing gear closeout panels. These parts will be manufactured at the company’s facilities in Norway.
