Iran used an upgraded versions of Kheybar Shekan missiles in last night's attacks on the northern Israel.

The speed of the upgraded missile reaches about Mach 9 during the dive, making it difficult to get intercepted by THAAD and Arrow systems, Iran’s Fars News reported quoting a military source.

In addition, Emad & Qadr F missiles were also used in Iran's Monday attacks.

Some 30 missiles were launched at Israel, most of which were intercepted, reported Israeli media adding that damage to four buildings has been reported mostly from falling debris of intercepted missiles.

Despite the Iranian claims of speed, its missiles lack precision targeting capability which explains why the missiles do not hit most of their intended targets such as military installations.
