The Pentagon today said it has planned to sell 60 Patriot missiles worth $4.2 billion to Kuwait in an effort to enhance its defenses. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress of the possible Foreign Military Sale To Kuwait on July 20. Once approved by the Congress, Kuwait will receive 60 Patriot advanced capability (PAC-3)missiles, 20 launching stations, four radar systems and control stations, personnel training and training equipment, and spare parts. “Kuwait will use the PAC-3 missiles and equipment to improve its missile defense capability, strengthen its homeland defense, and deter regional threats,” the agency said.
