The contract to supply the Mi-8AMT to Kazakhstan was announced at the MAKS 2013 air show. Under the terms of the contract, the helicopter will be delivered in 2014. It is planned to be used for rescue and air-ambulance work. The Mi-8AMT is ideal for use in high winds and mountainous terrain, has all the equipment necessary for carrying out rescue operations and is perfectly suited to operations in Almaty. Like other helicopters in the Mi-8/17 series, the Mi-8AMT can be flown in temperatures ranging fr om +50 to -50 degrees Celsius and can be stored outdoors.

With demand for light, multi-role helicopters increasing, Russian Helicopters can also offer Kazakhstan the new Ka-226T. The Ka-226T can operate as an emergency air ambulance. Inside it is functional and comfortable, equipped with modern intensive care apparatus to provide complete medical care while in the air. The company’s specialists drew attention to the helicopter’s outstanding characteristics and its advantages when used in Kazakhstan.
