Rockwell Collins will demonstrate its most advanced in-flight entertainment, cabin systems, aviation electronics and network communication solutions at the Dubai Airshow, Nov. 17-21.

“At this year’s Dubai Airshow, we’ll be demonstrating not only our solutions, but our long-term commitment to building stronger business relationships and expanding our presence in the Middle East,” said Claude Alber, vice president and managing director, EUMEA, for Rockwell Collins. “We look forward to a number of important announcements over the course of the show that reflect the rapidly growing market for our products and services in the region.”

Highlighting the Rockwell Collins exhibit will be the company’s new PAVES On-demand in-flight entertainment system, entering into service in early 2015.  PAVES On-demand provides passengers with a high-definition entertainment experience on a convenient, intuitive touchscreen display. For airline customers, the seat-centric design of PAVES maximizes reliability, and maintenance is simple with a quick-release mechanism for immediate removal or replacement.

Rockwell Collins industry-leading Venue cabin management and HD entertainment system, which recently surpassed the 300-installation mark, will also be featured at the show. The features and functionality of Venue equal even the most advanced home entertainment systems and executive suites. It has been selected by a growing number of Airbus Corporate Jet and Boeing Business Jet owners to update existing aircraft in response to passenger demands for the highest level of amenities.

Rockwell Collins newest simulator – RealFires, unveiled on November 4, will also be featured. RealFires is fully integrated with the FireStorm targeting system and facilitates command, control and communications for field training of Tactical Air Control Parties (TACP), Air Support Operations Centers (ASOC), Air Liaison Officers (ALO) and Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operators.

Rockwell Collin for the first time will display HeliSure – new HeliSure products, H-TAWS and H-SVS, address the real dangers of flight in degraded visual environments such as fog and brownout conditions. HeliSure products deliver sensor data in real time through an intuitive user interface that features 3D visualization.  Pilots find this interface easy to process quickly, leading to more effective decision-making.

Rockwell Collins award-winning Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics system, which will be on display at the show, offers unmatched breadth and capabilities that span from turboprops to air transport and military aircraft. The system integrates and displays essential flight information through empowering, graphically rich interfaces, including high-integrity head-up guidance featuring synthetic and enhanced vision and the industry’s first touchscreen flight displays.

At the display will be the TacNet Tactical Radio which offers the greatest range and best affordability of any Link 16 terminal available today in the smallest box. It provides network connectivity to platforms such as Unmanned Aerial Systems, Tactical Air Control Party and transportable ground stations that have traditionally not had access to the network.
