At the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2011 Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Indonesian regional carrier PT Sky Aviation signed the contract for the purchase of 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100/95B aircraft. The Eurofighter Typhoon will be making a rare demonstration of its unrivalled agility and engine power with a full weapon load air display at this year’s Farnborough International air show which starts next Monday 19th July. In total, two Typhoon jets will participate in the show’s daily display of air capabilities, the first, from RAF’s 29 Squadron which will fly ‘clean’ as with all display aircraft, and the second, a Warton based UK development jet (IPA 5) which will take off immediately after the RAF aircraft has landed, flying with a full weapon configuration rarely seen at air shows
