MASA Group, a leading developer of Artificial Intelligence based simulation software for the defense, emergency management, and games-related markets, will unveil new logistics and corporate training use cases for its automated wargame MASA SWORD at ITEC, Cologne, May 20th to 22nd 2014.

The company is also set to announce new customers, along with recent integrations of MASA LIFE, its recently released AI creative suite, into leading platforms including VBS and Unity3D.

Since the last edition of ITEC, MASA has been focused on broadening the scope of its pioneering automated wargame, SWORD, in line with the global requirements of a number of industries.

The defense and emergency management markets remain at the center of MASA's business and the company has steadily enriched its traditional offering with enhanced product features. In addition to this, for the first time MASA's products have been specially configured to train personnel of a major privately-held corporation.

The company will demonstrate these recent product portfolio enhancements to new and existing customers from both the military and civilian sectors during ITEC.

Having recognized the fact that most existing simulation systems typically address the training needs of tactical command staff, MASA has adapted its flagship product, SWORD, to meet the training requirements of logistics command posts. The company has integrated advanced logistics models into its celebrated automated wargame, SWORD, making it the only COTS product available to provide state-of-the-art simulation capabilities for logistics commanders training.

MASA has also broadened SWORD's functional scope to support another use case, making it an effective resource to train civilian crisis managers. The company will share insights about the Colombian Army's first use of SWORD to conduct an emergency management training exercise for South America's third largest oil company - Ecopetrol. This revolutionary use case offers a breakthrough business model to MASA's customers, whilst demonstrating potential future development opportunities to the rest of the Military Simulation and Training (MS&T) community.
