Russia Starts First Delivery of MiG-29 Fighter Jets To Serbia

Russian has begun first delivery of six Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter jets to Serbia on Monday, Sputnik reports.

All six fighter jets, which Russia is handing over to Serbia as military-technical assistance, should be delivered by October 6, a source in the sphere of military-technical cooperation was quoted as saying.

The disassembled Russian Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter jets are being transferred from An-124 military transport aircraft from Tretyakovo airport in the Moscow Region, which is operated by Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG.

According to the report, the aircraft are set to be first demonstrated on October 20, during Serbia’s national military parade. However, the source did not specify the date of the first flight.
