The government of Belarus has announced donating eight MiG-29 fighter jets and two BUK missiles to Serbia by 2018.

The announcement was made by the Serbian Defense Minister Zoran Dordevic following the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic visit to Belarus last week.

The deliveries are expected to happen in 2018 under the condition that Serbia cover repair and modernization expenses.

On behalf of the Serbian Government, the Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic and on behalf of Belarus, the Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Sergei Petrovich Gurulev signed the Agreement on the military-technical cooperation between Serbia and Belarus on 26 of this month, which establishes the legal basis for the military-technical collaboration of two countries.
