United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) delivered four new highly-maneuverable Su-35S fighter jets to the Russian Knights aerobatic team on Wednesday.
“Four new Sukhoi Su-35S super-maneuverable fighters joined the fleet of the ‘Russian Knights’ aerobatic team. The aircraft left Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant and landed today on Kubinka airfield,” UAC said in a tweet.
The team currently flies the Su-30SM super maneuverable aircraft, and the new jets with their more powerful engines should see more breathtaking performances.
“At the end of the acceptance procedure, the fighters relocated to the Cuban airfield. They pilots were trained to handle the new aircraft in Lipetsk,” Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
