Some 2600 Ukrainians, 498 Russian Soldiers Killed During Invasion: Russian MoD

The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) today announced that some 2800 Ukrainian nationals and security forces are killed and 3700 wounded during the current invasion of Russia into Ukraine
In addition, some 498 Russian servicemen are killed and 1597 injured, according to the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov.
Unfortunately, there are losses among our comrades participating in the special military operation. 498 Russian servicemen died in the line of duty. All possible assistance is being provided to the families of the victims,” Konashenkov said in comments quoted by the Russian MoD's official TV Channel, tvzvezda.TV.
"According to confirmed data, the number of captured military personnel of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine is 572 people," the spokesperson said.

Ukrainian reports said some 3000 Russian servicemen have died.

Some 2000 Ukrainian civilians killed says Ukraine's State Emergency Services

"For more than 160 hours, Ukraine and the Ukrainian people have been defending themselves against the insidious and cynical attack of Russia and Belarus. Every hour is the lost lives of our children, women, and defenders. For seven days of the war," the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

Over this period, Russia has destroyed hundreds of transport infrastructure facilities, residential houses, hospitals, and kindergartens in Ukraine. "Over this period, more than 2,000 Ukrainians have been killed, apart from our defenders," the statement reads.

"Today, the main efforts of rescuers are aimed at saving people. The lives of more than 150 people have been saved, more than 400 fires have been put out after the enemy attacks, more than 500 people have been evacuated. Pyrotechnicians have defused 416 explosive devices," the SES reports.
