A Russian Black Sea Fleet warship carried out salvo launch of seven Kalibr cruise missiles at Ukrainian military targets.
"The crew of a small missile ship of the Black Sea Fleet from the Black Sea carried out a salvo launch of seven Caliber cruise missiles at designated ground targets on the territory of Ukraine," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement Tuesday.
On April 5, the ministry said that the military fired precision-guided weapons at a training center for Ukrainian special operations forces near the city of Ochakiv.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s air defenses shot down two cruise missiles fired from Russian Su-35 fighters. The missiles were reportedly launched by Su-35s from Belarus. Two other cruise missiles fired from an unknown aircraft was also destroyed by Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems.
