Iran has halted its missile and drone attack against Israel launched this morning after claiming that Sunday morning’s operation "Wadeh Sadiq" was a “complete success.”
Major General Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces told Tasnim News: "This operation has ended in our opinion and there is no intention to continue it but if the Zionist regime takes action against us either on our soil or in our centers in Syria or another country, our next operation will be bigger," he warned.
The Chief of Staff stated that the operation was planned in such a way that the (Israeli) information center that provided information for the operation (against Iranian embassy in Syria) in Jabal al-Sheikh on the border of Palestine with Syria, besides the Navatim air base from where the F-35 planes were launched for targeting our consulate in Damascus were destroyed to a considerable extent and have became inactive.
In this operation, a significant number of UAVs, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles were used, and well-thought-out tactics deployed that neither the Iron Dome (Israeli air defense system) nor the missile defense shield could take significant action, and the operation achieved its goals.
He added: "Our ability is such that we could have a missile and drone operation ten times bigger than this.”
Bagheri said that necessary measures for the security of the country's air defense have been implemented (should Israel respond with air strikes inside Iran).
He added that Iran conveyed to the United States through the Swiss Embassy that if the U.S. were to cooperate with Israel (in operations against Iran), American bases and personnel in the region will not be safe.
