Indonesian Fast missile boat steel cutting at TAIS shipyard

The Indonesia Ministry of Defense (MoD) together with Turkish TAIS Shipyards marked the first steel cutting of the Fast Missile Boat (FMB) Full Combat Mission with the first steel cutting event on Wednesday (30/10), at the Sefine Shipyard, Turkey.

The First Steel Cutting FMB-Full Combat Mission event is an important moment in the tradition of building Indonesian Navy warships.

The event held at the TAIS shipyard was the first step in the physical construction of the KCR-Full Combat Mission warship which is part of the Indonesian government's efforts to support the Indonesian Navy in maintaining the sovereignty of Indonesia's territory.

"I am confident in the ability of Tais Shipyard to build this KCR-Full Combat Mission with good quality and complete it according to the specified time," said the Head of the Ministry of Defense in his remarks read by the Special Staff of the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral TNI Retiono Kunto.
