Pakistan Navy conducted testing of a surface-to-surface Anti-ship missile at the North Arabian Sea on Tuesday.

The live firing exercise which was launched from sword class frigate PNS ASLAT successfully destroyed its intended target with pinpoint accuracy reaffirming weapon’s lethality and offensive punch of Pakistan Navy’s Fleet, Radio Pakistan reports.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah stated that Live Missile Firing reaffirms credibility of deterrence at sea and reassures Pakistan Navy’s commitment to safeguard our maritime frontiers against all threats.

Last week, Pakistan had conducted a successful test of an enhanced version of the indigenously-developed Babur cruise missile.
