Ukrainian drones used to attack targets in Moscow and Crimea on Monday were neutralized by Russian Electronic Warfare systems.
Russian defense ministry said two alleged Ukrainian drones “were suppressed and crashed by means of electronic warfare.”
One of the drones fell on Komsomolsky Prospekt in the center of Moscow, while the other crashed in southern Moscow’s Likhachev Prospekt.
Accusing Kyiv of carrying out a “terrorist attack,” the ministry said 17 drones were used to strike facilities in the Crimean peninsula. “Fourteen Ukrainian UAVs were suppressed by electronic warfare means, of which eleven drones crashed in the waters of the Black Sea and another three fell on the territory of the peninsula.”
Remaining three UAVs were destroyed by Russian air defense systems.
Russia said there were no casualties as a result of both attacks.
