Anduril Selects Columbus, Ohio, for Arsenal-1 Hyperscale Manufacturing Facility

Anduril Industries has announced the establishment of Arsenal-1, its first hyperscale manufacturing facility, in Columbus, Ohio.

The facility will focus on producing autonomous systems and weapons for the United States and its allies, marking a step in strengthening the U.S. defense industrial base.

The company plans to invest nearly $1 billion in the project, which is set to create over 4,000 direct jobs, making it the largest single job-creation initiative in Ohio’s history. Located near Rickenbacker Airport, Arsenal-1 will occupy 5 million square feet and feature scalable production capabilities designed to meet surges in demand.

The facility will leverage Arsenal OS, a software-driven manufacturing platform designed for efficient and flexible production of autonomous systems and weapons.

Construction is set to begin following necessary approvals, with the first products expected by July 2026.
