Edge, GM Defense Sign MoU to Explore Light Tactical Vehicles

EDGE and GM Defense signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore potential projects related to light tactical vehicles for customers in the Middle East, Africa, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Under the agreement, GM Defense, a subsidiary of General Motors, will work with NIMR Automotive, a division of EDGE, to assess collaboration opportunities. The signing took place at the International Defense Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) 2025 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Martina A. Strong and NIMR CEO Abri du Plessis attended the event.
