Boeing will produce AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for international customers, including 96 aircraft for the Polish Armed Forces, under a Foreign Military Sales contract awarded by the U.S. Army valued at nearly $4.7 billion.

Poland’s order is the largest for the Apache outside the United States.

Deliveries to Poland are scheduled to begin in 2028. The Polish Ministry of National Defence is already preparing pilots and maintainers, and currently leases eight Apache helicopters from the U.S. Army.

Under an offset agreement announced last year, Polish industry will handle maintenance and support for the incoming fleet. Boeing will also create training programmes and assist in establishing a composite laboratory.
